Trip to the Moon

If I lived in the time of 1902 and I would see the first screening of the movie Trip to the Moon for the first time, I would be amazed and afraid at the same time.
The thought of flying to outer space and going to the moon was amazing, what more if it could really happen? In the movie, astronomers built a “rocket” and flew to the moon like a firecracker; the rocket was lit and was shot to outer space and reached the moon. It was creative and a little creep as well that the moon and the planets had faces on them. It would have been nice if everyone would have the privilege to go and fly to the moon. But as watched the movie, I thought, how will they get back to earth?
When the “aliens” and ‘foreign creatures” started to appear, it seemed creepy because if I lived during those times, I might have had believed in the movie and thought that aliens and other foreign and weird creatures were living in other planets. When they killed the ruler and got back to earth after their rocket ship fell from the moon, I thought that it was a ridiculous thing and that it would not be possible. But when they paraded around town and were given honors for their achievement, I realized how important new discoveries and accomplishments in science and technology were. And maybe, if it were not because of that movie, we would not be ambitious enough to try and discover new things.
