Fly...Fly Little Fly

“The Fly” is story of a man that invented a machine that can transport things from one place to another in a speed of light where in his too much curiosity lead to his total destruction. Taking too much risk and having no fear sometimes results to undesirable things such as what happened to the main protagonist where he lost his happy life, perfect family, and great career in just a single glance. The film, knowing it was done years ago, was very interesting in a way that it challenges the capabilities of man during those years that many are still yet to be discovered. It was not only a unique and creative story but serves as a lesson to those who may attempt to push too much to the limits. With this reasons, I may say that it can be considered as a morality play due to these characteristics.
At the time where so many things are still waiting to be invented for the convenience of human life, people also tend to forget what matters most and continue seeking those things that would bring them fame and fortune. People are engulf by the idea that machineries bringing easier life to humans will be highly acknowledged and may give them more than enough of their material needs. This desire of humans to provide themselves with convenience sometimes develops their dependence to these inventions and forgot that easier and convenient does not always means better and satisfying.

I would like also to comment on how good the actors and creators of the movie was  for making such complicated story into a legendary film given the lack of modern equipment we have today. And I admit an can’t help saying it, this is one of those movies that made too much impact on me that I was still crying even when I am already riding the jeep after the class. Maybe I was just too soft to be touch on that scene where the man was writing his last wishes and "I love you" to her,but no doubt that this movie does not only entertains me but also make us think that humans have countless capabilities yet it would still have limits. Those limits are invisible but should be recognized and never be forgotten.
